Battlefield V: Introducing Battlefield Currency and Elites
Other / 30. 4. 2019

Battlefield V on Xbox One continues to evolve, with each new chapter bringing players maps, modes, and more. Chapter 3: Trial by Fire is heating things up with the recently-unveiled Firestorm mode – battle royale, reimagined for Battlefield – and now the introduction of Battlefield Currency and Elites. Check out the intel below to find out more. Where to Get Currency and How to Spend It In Battlefield V there are two kinds of in-game currency. Company Coin is earned through gameplay and can be used to buy cosmetic items for your Company or to unlock choices within weapon and vehicle Specializations. The new Battlefield Currency can be purchased with real-world money and lets you buy cosmetic items and more – but nothing that will enable pay-to-win. To purchase Battlefield Currency go to the in-game main menu, then either head to My Company, or the Armory (you can also click on any offer featured in the game menus). From there, choose the “Get Battlefield Currency” option. Outside of the game go to the Microsoft Store, search for Battlefield V, and choose one of the Battlefield Currency amounts. Fate Of The Furious Director Attached To Saints Row Movie
Other / 30. 4. 2019

It’s been a while since we’ve heard the words “Saints Row” spoken aloud, but that’s about to change. According to Deadline, a film adaptation of the gonzo open-world series is in the works, and F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton, The Fate of the Furious, Men in Black: International) is attached to direct. Greg Russo is writing the script for the film. It’s not Russo’s first crack at working within the game space, either. He’s also working on the script for the upcoming Mortal Kombat reboot. In other movie/game news, we got our first glimpse of the film adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog in motion earlier this morning. Then again, if you spent any time online today, you’ve probably been overwhelmed by the reaction already.

Oculus Quest Review – The Next Step For VR
Other / 30. 4. 2019

Oculus Quest is the virtual-reality headset I’ve been waiting for. All of the hardware is built into the headset, meaning you don’t need a computer, phone, or console to run it. You also don’t have to worry about tripping over cables since it isn’t tethered to anything and is entirely wire free. Setup is easy and you can start playing games within just minutes of removing the headset and controllers from the box. It’s basically virtual reality’s equivalent of the console experience, and it comes packing a hefty library of games. Virtual reality is still in its infancy, and while it’s great that companies like Oculus, Samsung, and Valve continue to make significant breakthroughs in hardware and games, a new headset is almost obsolete by the time it launches. Oculus just released the Go, and now here’s the Quest, which is releasing on the same day as the cable-connected Rift S (an option we have yet to get our hands on). The Rift S and Quest hit on May 21. Even if you already have a nice VR setup, or want to adopt to the most powerful solution, which the Quest is not, its mobility makes it attractive. You can wear this thing almost…

You Can Now Watch That Entire High-School Production Of Alien
Other / 30. 4. 2019

Remember that high-school drama club that put on a production of Ridley Scott’s Alien a few months ago? You aren’t going to be able to see it in person, but all hope isn’t lost: The school has uploaded the whole show online, and you can watch it in 4K. Students at New Jersey’s North Bergen High School performed the show in March, using an original adaptation of the film and props that were largely constructed from recycled materials.
